Ringworm in humans is a fungus that results in a dry, itchy, red patch of skin (usually in a circle or ring). It is highly contagious and can easily be passed from person to person simply by touching the affected area. If left unattended, the area affected can grow and even become filled with pus.

1. Tea Tree Oil
Take some pure tea tree oil (a couple of drops is all you need) and dilute it in ½ cup of water. You can apply this solution directly to the area twice a day using a cotton ball.
2. Apple Cider Vinegar
Almost everyone has apple cider vinegar in their cupboard, making it a cheap, quick, and easy remedy to apply immediately to ringworm. Just soak a cotton ball in apple cider vinegar and pat it onto the affected area. You can repeat this up to three times per day, and continue for at least three days.
Garlic has strong antifungal properties, which makes it a very effective ringworm treatment. Simply crush 2-3 cloves of garlic and apply where needed; cover it with a wrap or bandage. You can keep this wrap on overnight.
4. Salt and Vinegar
Not just a great chip flavor, but also a powerful combination for fighting ring worm. Combine some salt with about ½ cup of vinegar; apply and let sit for five minutes; rinse. This will need to be repeated once every day for a week.
5. Papaya (raw)
Cut a papaya open and apply the inside to the ringworm. The enzymes in papaya will act quickly to kill the fungus.
Combine turmeric powder with enough water to make a paste and apply it to the affected area.
7. Aloe Vera
Applying Aloe Vera gel will not only help remove ring worm, but will also help soothe the itching and flaking of the skin. Keep the aloe gel in the refrigerator for extra relief.
8. Lemongrass Tea
Make a cup of lemongrass tea three times per day when suffering from ringworm; drink all the tea then apply the tea bags directly to the ringworm.
9. Lavender Oil
Because it has antifungal properties, lavender is a potent natural ringworm treatment. Simply drop some lavender oil onto a cotton ball and apply to the ringworm.
10. Mustard Seeds
Grind mustard seeds to make a powder and then combine with some water to make a paste. Apply this paste on a regular basis to the ring worm until it has disappeared.
11. Colloidal Silver
Find a gel or spray and apply this natural antibiotic directly to the affected skin at least two times every day.

You will need to boil about 6 teaspoons of licorice root powder in water (1 cup) for 20 minutes; strain and let cool. Apply the solution directly to the area, up to three times per day.
17. Ginger Tea
Make yourself some ginger tea by boiling 2 ounces of ginger root in 8 ounces of water. Drink the tea, but don’t finish it before applying some (using a cotton ball) to the ringworm.
Calendula cream can be applied to the area 2-3 times per day for itch relief and to speed up the healing process.
19. Vegetable Juice
Make a vegetable juice with carrots and spinach and drink up every day until the infection is gone.
20. Chamomile Tea
Make some chamomile tea and let the tea bag cool, then apply to the skin. Drink the tea as well if you wish.
Honey is a potent antifungal and will also help stop the itching. Combine honey with equal parts beeswax and olive oil and apply directly to the area.
